Boys & Girls Club

In 2011 the Kroc Center became home to The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club. The Club is open to 5-12 year olds and members engage in six core program areas:  Character & Leadership Development; Health & Life Skills; Education & Career Development; Sports, Fitness, & Recreation; the Arts; and Spiritual Development.

Fitness

The Kroc’s state-of-the-art fitness center includes free weights, strength training machines, treadmills, ellipticals, cross trainers and more. Treadmills are equipped with individual 17” high-definition TVs, or plug into the “Cardio Theater” and enjoy family-friendly programming on one of the larger flat screen televisions.

The media equipped dance/exercise studio hosts multiple group exercise classes ranging from novice to advanced. With over 75 classes to choose from including senior-specific programming, there’s an option for everyone in the community.

A full sized high school recreation basketball gym with six adjustable backboards and rims also includes hook-ups for two separate volleyball courts. Play in a competitive league or enjoy open gym play with the whole family.

Victory Sports

The Kroc’s Sports and Recreation Department hosts Victory Sports Ministry Leagues and Camps for all ages. Programming includes basketball, soccer, volleyball, pickelball, dodgeball, tennis, indoor soccer, flag football and much more. The goal of Victory Sports is to have fun in a competitive environment while using actions and attitudes that glorify the Lord.

We are currently registering for Youth Volleyball and Adult Flag Football leagues. Online registration available.

AQUATICS CENTER

With two heated pools containing three distinct areas for water programming, the Kroc provides recreational and aquatic exercise options for the entire community. A shallow waterpark play area ensures safe fun for the youngest swimmers, while a high tower water slide adds excitement for older youth. A traditional lap pool (25 meters and three lanes) with designated lap swim, group exercise and open swim provides fun and relaxation for the whole family.

Escape the heat under the beautiful outdoor pavilion or under one of the many permanent shade structures surrounding the pool deck. Chairs, tables and loungers are available at no charge.

Water Park is still closed during the weekdays but is now open Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm until June 4! Water Park will be open daily June 4-August 19 for the Summer season!

Lap Pool remains open during the Winter as long as the outside temperature is 55 degrees or higher. Contact Time & Temperature, (830) 257-3030, for current temps.
