Fitness at the Kroc 

Better health leads to a better you. Our Fitness Center is available to all members—youth and adult—for strength, cardio, endurance, flexibility, and agility training. Additional training classes, like equipment instruction and developing a proper workout routine, are also available to help you get the most out of your workout. Classes focusing on basic sports skills, endurance, and fitness are also available for youth.

Abs w/Glutes Beginner-Intermediate
Strengthen, firm up and shape your core!

Bootcamp Intermediate-Advanced
Challenging circuit-training obstacle course for a total-body, competitive workout.

Cardio Fusion Intermediate-Advanced
Athletic cardio movements to improve heart health, increase speed and agility, boost your mood, and ignite the metabolism. Includes strength training.

Core Essentials Intermediate-Advanced
Attack your core through high-intensity isolation exercises!

Cycle Fusion Intermediate-Advanced
Fun, energetic hybrid class mixing indoor cycling with strength training & calisthenic moves!

Functional Strength Beginner
Improve muscular strength, toning, & stamina while building a foundation of cardio endurance, functional movement, balance, and flexibility.

Gentle Stretch & Motion Beginner-Intermediate
A gentle dynamic stretch in a chair with balancing emphasis!  An introduction to hinging the joint systems to create stability.

Pump! Intermediate-Advanced
Inspiring music sets the background for this group strength training class that uses bodyweight, dumbbells, and light barbells to get YOU PUMPED UP!

Sculpt Beginner-Intermediate
Full-body strengthening & toning designed to sculpt long, lean muscles. Weights, cardio & abs.

Self-Defense w/ Bill Beginner-Advanced
A fun, easy self-defense class that’s very effective with real-world applications.  This is the Samoan martial art called Lima Lama.  A style of movement that becomes a part of your muscle memory, mixed with proven self-defense application.

TRX Suspension Training  Beginner-Advanced
Suspension trainer leverages bodyweight through hundreds of functional exercises that build strength, balance, flexibility, and joint mobility.  Involves a hybrid of traditional TRX moves with bootcamp, HITT & Tabata-style exercises that increase intensity.

Cycling

Indoor Cycling Beginner-Advanced
Put the pedals to the metal in this fast-paced workout on a stationary bike. Climb, sprint, interval and more to incredible music with extraordinary instruction! Get an amazing workout while burning a ton of calories.

Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga Beginner-Advanced
Incorporates traditional poses and positions into sequencing and a modeled “Flow”. The “counted breath” taken from Ashtanga Yoga, alignment and form, will build a strong group and personalized experience for everyone, Class will be tailored to the abilities and level of students.

Water Tabata Beginner-Intermediate
This class combines high intensity interval training with the therapeutic effects of water. Intervals that are designed to improve strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. The class is a great way to get a full body workout with low impact.

This class is a fun way to focuses on aerobic endurance, resistance training and creating an enjoyable atmosphere with music and good company.

The Salvation Army Kerrville Kroc Center utilizes the best local independent trainers They will be able to work with you one-on-one to help you set and achieve your fitness goals.

KROC CENTER TRAINING SERVICES

DETAILED EQUIPMENT ORIENTATION
Learn how to use fitness equipment/machines safely! Learn what each machine does, safe form and how to adjust them for your needs.  Trainers will answer questions and determine what’s best for you.
