Fitness at the Kroc 

Better health leads to a better you. Our Fitness Center is available to all members—youth and adult—for strength, cardio, endurance, flexibility, and agility training. Additional training classes, like equipment instruction and developing a proper workout routine, are also available to help you get the most out of your workout. Classes focusing on basic sports skills, endurance, and fitness are also available for youth.

Fun, energetic hybrid class mixing indoor cycling with strength training & calisthenic moves!

Functional Strength - Beginner to Intermediate
Improve muscular strength, toning, & stamina while building a foundation of cardio endurance, functional movement, balance, and flexibility.

GRIT CARDIO by LES MILLS
A scientifically-tested workout that uses bodyweight exercises with a focus on speed. Develop anaerobic stamina and rapidly improve your cardiovascular fitness to get you fit – fast.

GRIT STRENGTH by LES MILLS
A high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that combines scientifically-tested moves and weight exercises to build muscle and cardiovascular fitness.

HIIT Cycle Beginner - Advanced

High intensity interval training on bike. Push your fitness level to new limits in just 30 minutes. This high intensity, low impact style of training will challenge your mental and physical limitations and is scientifically proven to improve your cardiovascular fitness.

RPM ™ by LES MILLS

RPM™ is a fun, low impact group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly spin the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.

TRX Suspension Training - Beginner to Advanced
Suspension trainer leverages bodyweight through hundreds of functional exercises that build strength, balance, flexibility, and joint mobility.  Involves a hybrid of traditional TRX moves with bootcamp, HITT & Tabata-style exercises that increase intensity.

 

Cycling

Indoor Cycling Beginner-Advanced
Put the pedals to the metal in this fast-paced workout on a stationary bike. Climb, sprint, interval and more to incredible music with extraordinary instruction! Get an amazing workout while burning a ton of calories.

Yoga

Power Yoga - Intermediate to Advanced
A powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next, connecting breath to movement. Helps build and maintain strong bones, muscles and connective tissue.

Chair Yoga - Beginner
For all levels of yoga students. No prior knowledge of yoga is necessary. Reduce stress, increase strength & flexibility, improve balance and focus, lower blood pressure, improve circulation, and live a healthier lifestyle.

Yoga - Beginner to Advanced
Incorporates traditional poses and positions into sequencing and a modeled “Flow”. The “counted breath” taken from Ashtanga Yoga, alignment and form, will build a strong group and personalized experience for everyone, Class will be tailored to the abilities and level of students.

Older Adults

Yoga & Chair Yoga Beginner
For all levels of yoga students. No prior knowledge of yoga is necessary. Reduce stress, increase strength & flexibility, improve balance and focus, lower blood pressure, improve circulation, and live a healthier lifestyle.

Water Aerobics

Water Tabata Beginner-Intermediate
This class combines high intensity interval training with the therapeutic effects of water. Intervals that are designed to improve strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. The class is a great way to get a full body workout with low impact.

Water Aerobics Beginner-Intermediate
This class is a fun way to focuses on aerobic endurance, resistance training and creating an enjoyable atmosphere with music and good company.

Zumba

Zumba® Beginner-Advanced
A mix of freestyle and hip-hop, Latin/salsa dance moves. Tone and sculpt every part of your body. 

Les Mills, the global phenomenon, has arrived at the Kroc! Les Mills is a revolutionary fitness organization that fuses science, music, and movement to create a fun, yet impactful workout experience.

The Salvation Army Kerrville Kroc Center utilizes the best local independent trainers They will be able to work with you one-on-one to help you set and achieve your fitness goals.

LET’S GET STARTED
Start your initial fitness program off on the right foot!. Receive the 30-minute Fitness Assessment, a fitness program customized to your specific needs, abilities, limitations and goals, and four 30-minute workout sessions with your trainer.

Requires Advance Payment. Members only: $150

KROC CENTER TRAINING SERVICES

DETAILED EQUIPMENT ORIENTATION
Learn how to use fitness equipment/machines safely! Learn what each machine does, safe form and how to adjust them for your needs.  Trainers will answer questions and determine what’s best for you.
