Customer Service

Kroc Associate

the Kroc Associate is focused on member acquisition and experience in the areas of Membership, Recreation and Fitness. These staff members are responsible for participating in the creation of a welcoming, helpful, and safe environment where individuals and families can learn, grow, and thrive. Oversees the daily use of the fitness center and equipment by members, guests, and visitors; ensures safe, professional, and enjoyable operation of the fitness area; ensures the safety, cleanliness and proper maintenance of the fitness facility and equipment; opens and/or closes the gym and basic set up for events on a daily basis.

· Operates CCMS/RMS computer software for customer transactions in accordance to Salvation Army and member policies

· Handles cash transactions in an ethical manner

Health & Wellness

Group Fitness Instructor

The Group Fitness Instructor (GEI) will be responsible for designing/implementing and teaching safe and appropriate group exercise classes for members and guests; designs all class choreography, performs music selection, and determines appropriate equipment required for each fitness class they teach; learns and implements all choreography as designed by their respective certifying agency; ensures that all exercise and equipment used is done safely and appropriately for the exercise class demographics; ensures safety in fitness spaces provided: the multi-purpose aerobics room; the basketball gym, and the pool.

Aquatics

Aquatics Manager

Plan, develop, and oversee the activities of the aquatics programs as well as the supervised aquatics program staff, ensuring that the mission of The Salvation Army is a top priority in all areas and activities. Ensure that the aquatic programs are in compliance with established departmental policies and procedures. Ensure maintenance is scheduled for aquatics equipment including the pool, slide,splash park, and pool decks. Work closely with the Program Director in developing programs for the TSARJKCCC based upon ongoing needs assessment and business plan.

Create schedules and concepts for programs on a timely basis for use in marketing and distribution.

Create the event and program schedule to be included in program guide.

Supervise employees, volunteers, and participants.

Special Events and Food Service

Kitchen Supervisor

Supervisor of the day-to-day operations of the Food Service programs, including menu planning and food preparation; purchases food and maintains an adequate level of inventory for program needs, ensures food service program operates in compliance with health standards and regulations; supervises and participates in the work of the kitchen including the cooking and serving of meals.

Supervises the work of kitchen personnel; trains and instructs employees in the proper methods and procedures to ensure compliance with recipes, quality standards and health regulation.

Cook

Cooks and serves nutritious meals and snacks by established guidelines and schedules; ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances; maintains an inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Maintains a high degree of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room; ensures that all meals are prepared safely; ensures all kitchen personnel practices proper personal hygiene; ensures compliance with health regulations.

Special Events Assistant

Serves as a host for special events by providing exceptional customer service to guests. Sets tables; decorates event rooms; sets-up and breaks-down tables, chairs, and other food service event equipment. Supports preparation and serves meals and snacks in accordance with established requests, guidelines and schedules; supports the kitchen staff and performs routine tasks to ensure all meals are served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans dining facilities, fixtures, equipment and appliances; maintains inventory of supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Boys & Girls Club

Boys & Girls Club Youth Development Professional

Plans, implements, supervises members and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area, supporting the Boys & Girls Club priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. May oversee special programs and/or events (i.e. Keystone, Youth of the Year and Awards Programs), and/or participate in the implementation of other unit activities as necessary. In absence of the Program Coordinator; may provide supervision oversight to other Youth Development Professionals to ensure continuity of program services at unit/branch locations. Builds and maintains a professional relationship with all Club members and their families in order to help advance the mission of The Salvation Army.

Boys and Girls Club Program Coordinator II

Coordinates the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of specific program(s) for youth between the ages of 6 and 18 within a designated Club or multiple Club Sites. Provides leadership and supervision to assigned program and volunteer staff; and controls expenses as assigned. Plans activities and facilitates programs for groups of youth in assigned Specific program areas. (STEM, STEAM, Art, Sports/Athletics. Aquatics, Education). Other duties include writing program reports, supervising youth, and transporting youth in Club vehicles.
